Book description
There’s something achingly familiar about Daniel Grigori.

Mysterious and aloof, he captures Luce Price’s attention from the moment she sees him on her first day at the Sword & Cross boarding school in sultry Savannah, Georgia. He’s the one bright spot in a place where cell phones are forbidden, the other students are all screw-ups, and security cameras watch every move.

Even though Daniel wants nothing to do with Luce–and goes out of his way to make that very clear–she can’t let it go. Drawn to him like a moth to a flame, she has to find out what Daniel is so desperate to keep secret . . . even if it kills her.

This book is pretty much about a girl, Luce, who is forced to go to reform school, she sees shadows and makes a few friends and of course, likes a guy…. Well two… Daniel and Cam, they’re both fallen angels. Cam is actually a psycho angel, he gets on my nerves. (I hate when a girl likes two guys or more.) Luce has had other lives before this one where she always ended up finding Daniel, and something always happens to her. So this time he tries to stay away from her as much as possible, which just makes her try to find stuff out about him. She starts to remember some things from when they are together in their past lives; Cam and Daniel end up fighting, like a real angel fight over her. It ends with her being with Daniel and with a lot of unanswered questions.
I really don’t care much for the book. If it wasn't for you actually wanting to know what happens next,it would be a very slow book to read. The first book is defiantly not the best, I’m hoping the second will make up for it, or at least it better.
