Romance Writers of Atlantic Canada

Halifax business networking takes a romantic twist at the upcoming “Nova Scotia Networking: A Romantic Affair,” which is co-sponsored by the Romance Writers of Atlantic Canada and Bconnected. The event is set to take place on Thursday, February 10, at the Argyle Fine Art Gallery.

The pre-Valentine’s celebration is sure to break the traditional rules of Halifax business networking as attendees are encouraged to bring their dates and their hearts along for the ride. The promotions are in jest, but the event is an earnest attempt to encourage the Halifax networking community to think outside the box with its relationship-building endeavors.

The event provides an opportunity for the many talented writers in Halifax to mingle with the elite of Halifax business people, and it will allow for the business community to glimpse into the world of romance writing in order to gain an increased respect and appreciation for the writers themselves. Business people and writers will have the opportunity to explore potential business relationships and to be inspired by the surrounding art and written word.

The Halifax business networking event is free to attend, and in addition to networking it offers a great opportunity for Haligonians to celebrate Valentine’s Day early with the ones they love. “Nova Scotia Networking: A Romantic Affair” will take place on Thursday, February 10 at the Argyle Fine Art Gallery (1559 Barrington Street, Suite 102) from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Business people and writers alike are encouraged to bring their loved ones and friends out for a night to mingle and celebrate the romantic side of Halifax. After all, there’s nothing better than a little romance in the air on Cupid’s big day.
