Arc review Scandal in Scotland by Karen Hawkins

Title:Scandal in Scotland (Hurst Amulet #2)
Author:Karen Hawkins
Source:Historical romance
Format: Mass paperback
Length: 333 pgs
Authors website

This is my first book by Karen Hawkins and it sure wont be my last because I really enjoyed reading this book. I loved the surprises in the story and the connection between the hero and heroine. I really liked both William and Marcail. They have been lovers before, she spilt from him years ago, and she now is a mistress to another man even though she still loves William. I am not going into this complications here you‘ll have to read to find out. My biggest reason for liking this book so much was because of William I loved how that he could see past mistakes to be able to forgive. Some writers would have dragged this story out and kept great tension between them, but not this author, she had them working together and finding out more of each other. I am use to reading the heat from paranormal romance and I sometimes find the heat in historical very mild, but this was pretty heated. Yep, William and Marcail waste no time getting it on in a riding down the road in a carriage *fanning self*. I liked this one so much I have to get the first book and on to book three.
