Real Estate agent Randi Brown works the rich crowd, selling high-priced homes. With her parents dead it’s up to her to financially support two teenage siblings and she wants to spread her wings by negotiating a billion dollar land deal. Only the landowner, a business mogul no one has seen in years isn’t interested in selling his mountain to a development corporation, and Randi sets out to change his mind any way possible, even if that means sleeping with the reclusive billionaire.

After two years, since his wife’s brutal murder, Nicholas "Nick" Wolfe prefers to mourn her than get involved in business. So he lives cut off from society on Wolfe Mountain. Through his attorney, he’s offered billions, but no one knows to what extent the value of the land is more than the inhabitants—the Lycans, human wolf-like animal shifters.

When Randi shows up on the mountain one rainy night, Nick tires to fight the desires of the wolf in him to take a mate. Unfortunately, nature has made it impossible to resist the animalistic urges strengthened by the influence of a full moon and the power of lust in this woman’s eyes. Can love know no bounds?

Randi has no idea of where this torrid affair can lead until she learns the gruesome details of a woman’s murder by a creature not quite human. Then she becomes the next target and she discovers how falling in love can lead to a fatal attack from a Lycan.

Sexual

If you’re looking for a demanding, brooding, and sinfully carnal Lycan, you found one in Nick Wolfe. There is enough rutting to keep you steaming through the coldest of winter’s days. It doesn’t take long and you find J.R./Nick and Randi horizontal, vertical, outside, in the bath, shower. There is just enough spanking, bondage, anal penetration, and PDA that should satisfy every sweet craving.

Randi Brown didn’t do her homework before heading up Wolfe Mountain; she was in such a hurry to land one of the biggest real estate deals of her career. Unfortunately, when she does arrive at the Wolfe place, the only one there is the caretaker, J.R., and she has no idea when or if Mr. Wolfe is going to show. Since she’s been without sex for two months now, she decides to take advantage of the situation when J.R. makes the first move.

Nick has chosen seclusion since the death of his wife two years ago. When Randi shows up on Wolfe Mountain, he is hard pressed to ignore the pull of the Lycan or the lust searing inside him. Her scent calls to him to mate. Try as he might to avoid her: Nope..nada..ain’t gonna happen!

Without her protests, there was nothing to stop him from making the bitch in heat his mate.

When I first started reading, I thought this was just another erotic (SEX) story with a werewolf thrown in for a twist. Well, for the first 85% that is: Trickle in here and there Wolves causing trouble, a mysterious stranger with a tale of death, and Nick’s unending quest to have Randi as his mate (even though she is unaware of his condition). Add a dash of suspense, a lover unmasked, and a first-rate erotic paranormal romance is complete.

Now, why, you ask -- just a 3 Howl? Nick bemoaned over his dead wife just way too much for me. Randi didn’t seem too concerned over her siblings -- once a hot guy was put in front of her! And she didn’t even play hard-to-get. I’m just sayin’!
